A guy called Chris - can't remember his surname is very skilled in linux. We
have just taken out a support arrangement with them. Excellent to bounce
ideas off.

Subject: [wellylug] Linux Support

We have 3 workstations (4th to be added) all running Red Hat 6.2 and
oneserver (also running Red Hat 6.2). In addition, there is one Windows
machine. The server is running Samba, NFS and NIS. The workstations
are mountinghome off the server and using NIS for password authentication.

There is only one serious application, Cold Fusion, running on the
server (some machines have local copies for development reasons). We
will be wanting to run J2EE server in the near future (probably orion).

We Require:

1) Audit of current setup.
2) Suggested improvements and implementation of those improvements, esp
network setup.
3) Occasional support.

Most of the day-to-day efforts we can handle if there is a clean and
proper setup, its getting there that we have some problems.

Can you suggest an experienced, reliable firm to help us ?

Anton Donde
