Hi all

I've recently installed RH6.1 and was using it as my alternative OS. Last nite when I connected to my and try to download some programs, I notice that a lot of entries from in.identd poped up in my process list.

The owner of the processes is root, and netstat did not report any other connections to my computer except the 1 active download currently running.

Should I be concerned? What is in.identd used for?

TIA for any help.

Cheers
Hong C
