[wellylug] News update

After our discussions on Monday I have contacted both Redhat and
Mandrake regarding what they can offer us as a user group. I have yet
to hear back from Redhat but Mandrake replied within about 5-10
minutes seeking further information (number of members, contact
details etc.) and when I replied to this they sent me an email (which
I saw this morning) saying that they are shipping us some free copies
of GPL Mandrake 8 and some stickers!
So we are going to have the beginnings of a library soon, perhaps
someone could approach libraries etc. to see if they are interested
in a copy of Mandrake to loan out (once we have them an know how many
copies we will have)?
