>From the NZLUG site (http://linux.net.nz/) here are a few NZ sites for
downloads of various Linux distros:

IHUG <http://www.ihug.co.nz> carry an up-to-date kernel mirror
<ftp://ftp.ihug.co.nz/pub/linux/kernel/> along with a mirror of the Debian
distribution <ftp://ftp.ihug.co.nz/pub/debian/>. Unfortunately these mirrors
are only accessable by IHUG customers.

C L E A R net <http://www.clear.net.nz/> have Redhat, Debian and FreeBSD
mirrors at <ftp://ftp.clear.net.nz/>. Thanks to Mike G. for pointing this
one out.

Another good one, situated in Wellington, is
<ftp://ftp.citylink.co.nz/pub/linux/>.

Another Redhat mirror...
<ftp://ftp.phys.canterbury.ac.nz/pub/linux/distributions/>

<ftp://ftp.manawatu.gen.nz/pub/linux/> carry mirrors of the Slackware
<http://www.slackware.com/> and Stampede <http://www.stampede.org/>
distributions.

<ftp://ftp.redhat.co.nz/> carry Redhat 5.2 and 6.0 for both Intel and SPARC
architectures.

<http://apache.net4u.co.nz/> is the official New Zealand mirror of the
Apache web server software, maintained by Sahil Gupta, Net4U Limited.

<http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/>, have pretty much everything - and they
generally have quite good connectivity to NZ.
