I would check by phone first to see what the procedure is. They will want
to know about provenance, updates, and ownership, that sort of thing,
because it will involve the library if there is any challenge. We know
there won't be, but likely they are very cautious about copyright? I
haven't tried this before so you may be right. It may be easier than I
think?
