[wellylug] Fifo audio

Hi

I am grabbing some videos with a bttv card with xawtv.
It worked well for the first 600 Mb then got some lags between sound and
images (more than a second, which makes some dialogs quite funny). 
Finally I got the message "fifo audio full". Is there a possibility to
reset a fifo audio ? 
Rebooting does not do anything, so I guess it is written somewhere in a
file, but which one ???
