Just in case you wanted to know, the whole lemmings thing is an urban myth :-)
Some American wildlife program in the '60s ensured everyone believed it by
showing 'lemmings' jumping over a cliff into the sea .... turned out their
budget was quite small so they didn't actually seek out real lemmings they
filmed hamsters being pushed into the St Lawrence (I think) river in the
USA instead :-)
