I have two of these machines from the 2020 trust and was helping them by
putting linux on them
I have found that rh 7.3 with gnome, abiword, gnumeric, mozilla and
printing sw will run ok on a
P100 with 64MB Ram. There is about 150MB of free disk on a 850MB hard disk.
They have a limited amount of screen memory which means that they run in
800x600 or 640x480.
They would work better as thin clients I agree, but that may only be
good for some environments.
I am away from now until the 12 August and could possibly bring one
along for you guys to see at a
later date. - is this any help?
cheers
Mark
