Heya all,
noticed the thread on 'A little project'. Maybe this site might be

Introductions:
I've recently moved up from Nelson, and am currently looking around 
for a job. My current self-funded 'holiday' is giving me some time to 
look at Linux and the Opensource movement (guh, I've been reading The 
Cathedral & the Bazaar et al, all the Halloween Documents, and I've 
decided (been brainwashed?) to learn Python...). I've got a flatmate 
who has fairly up to date copies of Redhat & Mandrake etc, so as soon 
as I can get hold of the *flatmate*, I'll be 'taking the plunge' (or 
paddle hopefully, if I set it up as a dual-boot system correctly). 

If I've got it sorted by Monday (or have any problems!), and manage 
to get out to Johnsonville, I may see some of you at the meeting...
What's the topic for the next meeting?
Also, stupid question perhaps, but - do people bring their computers 
along?
