Have you used it? what did you think ?  I use Scite on Linux and MICROS~3 it
is a very cool open source programmers editor.
The main things I like about it are auto completion and code folding. My
installation knows about 36 different programming languages.
It is the IDE that come with Ruby (a seriously cool language), I use it for
C++, Perl, Python, sh, fortran etc as well now, going so far as to spurn the
IDE editors from Borland et al..
No US$300+60/yr price tag either

well worth giving a try
