[wellylug] Connecting to the external world

Hi all,

Following recommandations I finally managed to get a Eth card that does work
(RTL 8139, D. Smith Elec. for a VERY good price). Therefore both my linux
boxes are talking to each other, after correcting a routing mistake. Both soft
and hardware (and I) were involved.

Still something is not going Ok.
Pc1 is connecting from time to time to paradise via ppp. 
Pc2 reaches Pc1 via a hub / eth0 (and Pc1 to Pc2)
However, Pc2 can not access the net...

Following receipes from various web pages, howtos, I have configured the PC
accessing the net (Pc1, 192.168.1.1) via ppp such as

 /etc/sysconfig/network 

Networking=yes
Forward_IPV4=true
Hostname=gascogne.chalaron.org
domainname=chalaron.org
Gateway=192.168.1.1
Gatewaydev=eth0

and added ipchains under /etc/rc.d/rc.local such as :

ipchains -P forward DENY
ipchains -A foward -s 192.168.1.0/24 -j MASQ

And......... it does not work, no access to the net from Pc2 (192.168.1.2)

Again I probably missed something (may be a good book on this matter ?),
but if someone can indicate me where to look from now, it woud be greatly
appreciated.
