It is a fact that Outlook is a great vector for Windows viruses. Note
that I recommended other Windows mail clients, on the assumption that
Lindsay has good reason to read mail on Windows. It is not intolerance
to anything but Linux, rather intolerance to the most insecure mail
client in common use.

Lots of reasons, some very logical I'm sure. But come on, there is a
certain... irony here.

Also - Lindsay says he has to use Outlook, to work with clients.
Personally I'm curious why, for two reasons:

1. We might be able to suggest some way to get around the need for
Outlook.
2. If there's an insuperable barrier to leaving Outlook behind in this
case, then that's useful for the rest of us to know in our own work with
Linux.

For what it's worth, I once was forced to post to a Debian user group
list through Outlook Web Access. The resulting ms-tnef encoded
attachment was hard to live down...
