[wellylug] Modem / minicom / mgetty / Init Strings

Hi
I am trying to init a modem using minicom and mgetty
According to windows (dual machine) my modem is a cirrus logic CLMD3450
I went on the modemhelp.org and got this init string : AT&FX4
I am a bit puzzled since the init string found by minicom -s is much longer.

Where it starts to be tricky is that none of them are working when pasted 
under /etc/mgetty+sendfax/mgetty.config.
I am most certainly writing the string with a bad syntax. 
Can somebody point me to the right direction or tell me how to handle 
properly the AT&F stuff.
