  What would be the hire cost though? The main reason for wanting a move is to find somewhere cheaper than the J'ville place (which costs just under $30 a meeting).

    Hi,

    There is no projector, but there is a whiteboard.  I believe the 3rd and 4th Monday of the month will be free.  There is a phoneline there, so it is possible to dial out.  It is  cheap, spacious, and central.  If this seems like a good place, I'll make a reservation

    As you know we need a place on an ongoing basis each month. Ideally the
    place will have at least a whiteboard, but we would like an Internet
    connection if possible, and a projector would be even nicer.

    Hi,

    Have you considered the Wellington People's Centre (Lukes Lane, just off
    Courtenay Place).  It has a big meeting room and is available on some Monday
    nights.  The cost is usually $20-40 a meeting.

    Since it appears that we are unable to find a new venue is time, it looks
    like there will be no December meeting at this point in time.

    The only venue we have on offer at this time is Rongotai College and if
    nothing else more central comes up before February I would say we'd have to
    look at using this as the new venue.

    Has anyone managed to find out anything about a more centrally located (ie.
    close to CDB) venue as yet?
