[wellylug] reinstall gone wrong!

Hi all,
I decided to try a reinstall of Mandrake 9 for a number of reasons - new CDROM and wanted practice at installing
- possible file corruption causing problems with Gimp display - and wanted to have a go!

Install seemed to go okay.  Rebooted and got command line.

Entered host and password and tried mozilla to see what would happen - nothng.  Tho - I probably don't have it installed.  Tried Konqueror - nothing.

Rebooted using Ctrl Alt Del and got command line again.

Lilo display on booting shows Linux, linux nonf-b, windows, failsafe, floppy.  And - no - I didn't make a floppy rescue - not sure I got the opportunity actually.

Help please.  Need to get this sorted before trying to install 9.1.  Thanks.

Had to go to Windows to write this!  First time for ages!
