Yes - I actually wrote down it told me "cannot connect to X server".  And
when it was installed Dion said he had trouble with it, I seem to recall.

When I do "startx " I get almost a full screen of error messag.  Among other
things it says
"fatal 10 error 104
not implemented, unknown.  No devices detected."
