When I think about it every install has required some adjusting for this.

Just for fun (because I thought it might help)  ran
"urpmi XFree86"
and was told "everything installed".  I wondered if the device not detected
message meant I hadn't installed it:-).

Don't put too much thought to it as am going to install Mndk 9.1 when get
disks.  Hopefully this issue won't occur!!
