[wellylug] Please recommend a decent ISP. Not IHUG !

Hi,

I need some recommendations for an isp. 

I have used ihug for 18 months. They provide a good connection. I have a
56K dialup. with 250hrs per month. Normally I use 150-200 hrs a month.
Last month owing to the Iraq war my downloads really slowed down and I
managed over 300hrs and was given an additional charge of $146. All fair
and good to the original agreement I made EXCEPT

1) They provide no automated warning of going over ones limit.

2) Any new customer signing up today for ANY dialup account cannot pay
more than a $30 surcharge. This means that loyal customers are screwed
EVEN though the company obviously recognises the problem. Funnily
eneough their mailing lists which I allow to advise me of changes to
their policies either did not sell these changes to accounts do so or
did so very quietly....they sell me lots of things I don't need !

Anyway I can not allow people to profit when they do this sort of thing
so I must change isp.

Any opinions either pro or con welcome.
