I'm happy to host it on the same server that's hosting the mailing list,
assuming that we're just talking about what appears to be a half dozen
or so static pages.  Updates could be made via ssh/scp/sftp/rsync (the
server doesn't run FTP, and I don't really want to install a FTP server
if I can avoid it).

I'm of course also happy if someone else wants to volunteer to host it.

Yes.

However someone does have wlug.org.nz already.  wellylug.org.nz still
seems to be available.
