I am interested in looking if there is a linux I can use, that
is a lot easier than Debian which I have.
As you know I have had problems since May and mostly X closes all the
time and also mozilla the rest of the time.

My DH wants to go to the Appple shop this weekend as he is
sick of my problems as they affect him also!

We need to be able to look after our own LAN, currently I can't
even 'SEE' the LAN on my pc. Someone in Australia set it up for us.
 We would like to share scanner etc. even possibly the webcam??
We want to be able to get ADSL. Also at the moment when I dial
in then his win 98 is online also, and we need a system where we can both be online
at the same time with the one connection.  He  is getting XP next week.
I can only keep linux if I can do everything
myself. Is this possible? Yes I can come to the city with my pc but
only in daylight hours as I dont drive at night, would that be any good?
