Well - I used to use domainz.co.nz (the original) for domain registration 
then I switched over to registerdirect.co.nz. 

Domainz has absolutly no concept of customer service at all, and if you 
deal with them expect major hassles. Registerdirect on the otherhand are 
priced fairly well and respond almost instantly to email queries - they 
also have a web front end to their two DNS servers (so I could switch some 
of my DNS servers off) and there are additional enhancements in the works. 
(cnames for one...) 

Just my two cents worth...
