[wellylug] Wireless Networking

I'm thinking about building a wireless network. I want to go for 802.11b
& maybe 802.11g.

Does anyone know any good quality budget PCMCIA cards that work well
with Linux?

Also, is it possible to network 3+ computers without an access point? I
know that wireless cards work peer-to-peer...
