OK so I did already put lyndsay in there, that's my login name

Can you please just expand that bit you just said - once the entry is in for sendmail?
I put the line in .muttrc as set envelope_from=yes
but I am not sure what it is doing. My from header in the .muttrc was
already correct, it is the same .muttrc I used on my old system.

I did read it, but I will look again. I just dont see mutt is the problem really.
