[wellylug] Mandrakemove & *LG* cd-burner ?

Dear Brenda & Wellyluggers,

    thanks for that URL. I was about to download Mandrakemove to
make a CD - would make a great Chrissy gift for Linux wannabees -
but I was brought up short by dire warnings that Mandrake 9.*
(permanently ?) 'freezes' LG CD drives.

    In my case I'd be downloading to an XP drive (for space) and
burning using an LG CD R/RW burner.

    Is it a problem, or could I proceed ?
