Summary of public wifi access in wellington: (that i know of)

there are some cafes that run their own wifi access, but most cafes in
town offer citylink's "cafenet" that someone else here already
mentioned. This you pay for on their website (I'm not sure if you can
pay in the actual cafe, your couldn't last time i asked).

I don't know of any reliable free wifi other than the badly configured
corporate wireless networks.

I've noticed a poster in the window of the SonyStyle store in willis
street that in a glance looks like it's advertising wifi. I'm not sure
if it's about their devices, or a network in town. something about "Love
in in the air". Anyone know more? I'll have a better look on the way
home tonight.
