Yup. Harrence here. No good info on cdrw or dvd/cd drives - devices, 
however if you find the one that suits your system. Take the faceplate 
-whatever colour- and sand it very lightly with
1000 grit sandpaper. Black is a difficult paint to even-out. so use a 
dark grey, take the faceplate
into the sun where there is a light breeze. watch the paint fall down 
from the spray-can in a mist
onto the faceplate. better to make two dappled surfaces - twice, than 
one heavy surface once.
