Mandrake's OpenOffice packages have had anti-aliased fonts for some time
now. I'm no expert but I guess it depends on whether OOo is using it's
own xfs, or the system one.

As I recall, there was a split earlier this year in the Gentoo community
over those that wanted to continue with Python powering this, and those
who wanted alternatives. Did the alternatives get off the ground? Is
Python still considered the best implementation in the Gentoo community?
