1) I didn't say anything about it being 'free' or that it was wholly
open source.

2) The StarOffice code is based on OpenOffice.org, the only additions
are extra third party fonts, dictionary/thesaurus and a proprietry
database application. All coding goes back into the OO.org source base.
So StarOffice IS predominently open source software.

3) Revenue from StarOffice pays for Sun programmers to continue the
development of the StarOffice / OpenOffice code base.

StarOffice being successful directly improves the open source code base
for OpenOffice.org. So as I said it is 'A great day for open source
software'
