For those not already in the loop, Vint Cerf, one of the original
developers
of TCP/IP and currently Chair of the ICANN Board is visiting NZ to speak
at
the Knowledge Wave Forum in Auckland Thursday next week.  He will also
be
speaking at two public fora in Wellington.  

Monday 17 February, 5:30 pm.  National Library Auditorium, Molesworth
St,
Wellington, "Towards and Information Society for All"
Tuesday 18 February, 11:45 (for noon).  US Embassy, 29 Fitzherbert St,
Wellington, "E-mail, how its changed busienss and where it is going"

You will need to notify the US Embassy in advance if you want to attend
the
Tuesday talk.  I will copy the PDF file I received from the Embassy to
anyone emailing me direct for further information.

I understand that Vint is also going to give a public talk in Auckland
later
in the week but at this stage do not know the details.
