Venue
>From the feedback to the question it appears those of us that attempted to
find an alternate venue in town have not succeeded.
Is it possible to book the hall for (say) the next 6 months ahead. Is there
a penalty if you cancel a booking?
We can continue to look for somewhere suitable in the general CBD area and
if it comes up then the venue can be transferred.
Meeting Themes
On another note what would people like to see for the first meeting this
year.
Over the holidays there has been discussion on a number of items - perhaps
some run down on progress of these?
The CD development for 20/20 Trust computers - what is the progress on this?
Some of us met Peter Harrison from the NZ Open Source Society last week -
perhaps some collective thoughts and discussion on who the Society is, what
its aims are, and how it could affect/support WellyLUG? You can find Peter's
report at the NZOSS website http://www.nzoss.org.nz/portal/index.php
