I meant *post* with non-existent email in From: (like I'm doing all the
time). Mailman obviously recognises senders by From:, not
envelope-from, this is broken.  There's nothing you can do about that,
because, as you say, you can't subscribe that address. Even if you
could subscribe it, it would be useless, as mailman would unsubscribe it
due to bounces. Ezmlm works just fine.
