[wellylug] Creating partitions - Linux From Scratch

For my linux from scratch installation, I need to create a ext3
partition.

I've make 2gb free space, to fit a partition, but fdisk (linux) says
that there is no free space. Can anyone tell me how I can create a
partition?

For people who have made linux from scratch installations, how did you
do this?

The guide says to use cfdisk, but I don't seem to have it...
