$ rpm -q --whatprovides libcrypto.so.2 libssl.so.2
openssl096b-0.9.6b-6
openssl096b-0.9.6b-6

You'll find that openssl096b-0.9.6b-3.i386.rpm which comes on the RH9 CD
has been updated to -6. You can download it from

ftp://ftp.wicks.co.nz/pub/linux/dist/redhat/updates/9/en/os/i386/openssl096b-0.9.6b-6.i386.rpm
