Ok, this is odd (to me anyway!). If I have the entries in the /etc/fstab
and its mounted at boot time (or via. mount -a) only root can look
through the mounted Windows filesystems. On the other hand if I manually
mount each Windows partition with commands like mount /mnt/win_d (which
will reference the entry in the /etc/fstab?) then I can look through the
mounted partition fine.
This is all well and good but how can I get it so that any user can look
through the windows partitions and have them mount at boot time?
