[wellylug] USB printer in Mandrake

Hi all,

I am attempting to use a supported USB printer (Epson C20UX) under
Mandrake 9.1.  I previously had it running under Redhat 9.0.  I note
that during startup USB drivers are loaded followed by USB printer being
loaded. 
When I attempt to configure the printer via CUPS/printerdrake it fails
to detect the printer but gives me the option of selecting the device as
/dev/usb/lpx where x = 0 or 1 or 2.  I THINK this was the same config i
had under Redhat but it does not appear to work.  Any ideas or pointers
to resources?
