I would highly recommend you remain with NTFS for Windows XP, or you are
going to find it performs very poorly, and you will forever be
defragging the fat32 partition. Just make sure XP uses a basic
partition setup instead of Logical Disk Management, and you should have
no problems. I should default to this if you reinstall XP after
creating the extra partitions for linux.
