This Saturday we will be holding the AGM of the New Zealand Open Source 
Society at IBM in Wellington:

Day : Saturday, 15 March, 2003.
Time : 1pm - 3pm.

100 Willis St.
Wellington

The AGM is simply the official send off for a society which will be advocating 
open source in New Zealand. We have a broad role and difficult objectives. If 
you have received benefit from the open source community I seriously suggest 
you consider joining the NZOSS. Only if we all work together can we bring the 
benefits of open source to a wider section of the community.

In order to attend you must be a member of the society, and must register for 
the event.

Note: There is a membership fee of $40 for individuals, or $20 for students 
and seniors. This will be collected at the meeting. This money will  be used 
for the administration of the society, and bringing various publications and 
seminars to the membership, as well as carefully considered projects that are 
difficult to find sponsorship for.

If we all stand behind the NZOSS we will have an effctive voice which will be 
heard by Government and by Corporate Business. Lets all stand firm and act in 
support of open souce now.
