is not Larry Ewing's penguin.  This looks like an Emperor or a King 
penguin.  As for Linus's description of a 'cuddly' penguin, he clearly 
has not been near one.  They are predators, not cuddly.  They have 
terrible table manners, and dodgy personal hygiene while on land at 
least.  In the sea, they are magnificent.  But clearly the stylised 
penguin of Ewing has a major following but is not the single and 
official logo it would seem.  Where that gets me I am not sure?  :-)
