I am a club member, so get the 20% discount on boxed sets :-) The convenience
of the boxed set is useful to me. Remember for me Linux is a means to an end,
not an end in itself. What I want is a plug & play installation of the O/S plus
applcations so I can use the damned computer, not wrestle with downloads,
installs, dependencies etc. If I value my time at about $40/hr, if the boxed
set saves me about 2 1/2 hours, I come out better off :-)

Yep. But for me (& a few others so far) the benefits of Mandrake club
membership are additional to the convenience of a boxed set. & while Mandrake
does benefit financially from club memberships, their core business is still
selling Linux, not supporting club members.

Cheers
