[wellylug] Modem recommendations

I've just bought a PCI Motorolla hardware modem on www.trademe.co.nz for $20
+ $5 .  Which is a good price I think.  Haven't installed it yet though.  I
also have a PCTel modem (PCI winmodem) I recently installed which I also got
on trademe.  It works fine with Linux but you have to download and build the
drivers off the net.  (after finding them)  It seems to be a bit on the slow
side (average 41.2kbps), but that could possibly be the phone line.
Hopefully the hardware modem will be a bit faster.
