Their web interface probably doesn't bother to show everything within
their database: if you requested the address while a customer, they
would probably have noted you as the "owner" of it somewhere, such that
when your account disappeared from their system, so did "wlug".

Of course, I could be completely wrong :-) (and that offer of hosting is
still open)
