I've used cable since I arrived in Petone (late 99). I've had 3 major 
outages. The last two were last month, both related to my COM21 cable 
modem (basically it died, was resurrected and then died again a week 
later). It took them 3 days to sort out and send me a new modem.

I choose TC cable (or Saturn as it was) because of the static IP address 
and because they werent Telecom.
