[wellylug] Laptop Battery Problems....

I'd assume (fatal word!) so. It requires booting under DOS, and at then
causes "something" to run which puts a load on the battery to the point
where it is fully discharged.
I can't see that this would be specific to any brand of battery / laptop.
YMMV.
