[wellylug] OpenOffice 1.1.0 upgrade problems

I am having problems with upgrading from OpenOffice 1.0.2 to v1.1.0
under Mandrake 9.1 using KDE.  I have got OOo1.1 up and running, but can
only access in by running soffice under a Linux shell.  The links to the
individual package components on the Task Bar and the KStart menu
entries all still point to the old version.  I was forced to do a
parallel install due to problems with non-compatible language settings
between v1.0 and 1.1 (v1.0 having been set to NZ english rather than US
english).  Does anybody have any idea make v1.1 the default package, so
I can then delete v1.0 off my system - I have tried deinstalled it using
Setup, but it is still there and happily operating.

If necessary I can bring my PC along to the next Lower Hutt LUG for
someone to play on.
