Um - CDs are read only. So you can't rename anything on a CD. You can
copy it somewhere else (with cp) and rename it there (with mv).

cd changes your working directory. When you give a command like urpmi a
filename, it will look in your working directory for it. If, as I
suspect, you have not yet copied the file into your home directory
(/home/kadim) and renamed it, this would explain it,

Reviewing Jethro's original instructions, maybe it wasn't clear that
each line should be followed by the enter key?

Thus:

su - [enter]
[your root password][enter]
cd <wherever>[enter]
rpm -i <the name of the driver rpm>[enter]

No problem. I know how frustrating it can be when you keep getting
answers that are puzzling problems in themselves.

However, a trip to the library to get one of their introductory Linux
books might be a good idea. They have a quite a good selection now. It
would probably help you to have a simple reference as you get started
while you build up some basic knowledge.
