Secondly,
As following further suggestion resulting these:
 
cd /mnt/cdrom - cd: /mnt/cdrom : Input/output error
 
 
I also tried to copy the hsflinmodem05 ..rpm (with a complete name) to floppy
then:
 
cd /mnt/floppy 
cp *.rpm /home/kadim
 
checking the /home/kadim: seems there is a file: hsflinmodem.....rpm*
then going to:
 
cd /mnt/home/kadim
urpmi *rpm 
 
resulting in:
warning: /etc/hsf/Inf/linux_ali_smartmc.inf saved as /etc/hsf/inf/linux_ali_smartmt.inf.rpmorig
warning: /etc/.../linux_athens.inf.../linux_athens_inf.rpmorig
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /etc/hsf/inf/linux_hsf.inf;3f537e09:
cpio: read failed - Bad file descriptor
