You could refer to a previous thread on this list:

I haven't used Norton Ghost, but I'm thinking you shouldn't use a M$
solution for Linux partitions, even if they say it should work. You could
certainly try it, since you'll still have your original drive intact.
I suggest looking at Make CD-ROM Recovery (mkCDrec):

Since you currently have win98 and RH7.1, you may want to consider just
copying your document directories to a CDROM and upgrading both OSs in the
process. Good luck.
