Thank you Damon for pointing me in the right dirrection,
Lyndsay, Mandrake 9.1 detected and configured my BJC-3000 printer and I´m sure
it runs better under Linux though the flakey windows box I had was no
contest.
You don´t want to give up Debian so try the drivers available on this site:
