You'd need to do a statistically significant survey. Enter a bunch of 
statistical analysis, social science, research techniques, bias-proof 
questionnaire design, etc. that I can't be arsed thinking about.

In the meantime, it's all opinions. Personal experience is anecdote by 
definition, and the truth of an opinion is not related to its popularity, 
contrary to what most mainstream media would have you believe. Imagine the 
chaos if medical trials were conducted on anecdotal evidence alone, we'd be 
back to shoving leeches in our ears and quaffing mercury for headaches!
