[wellylug] second installfest meeting & situation update

I am looking at registering the Conextant drivers some time in the next
few weeks.

It;s about $15 USD if I recall correctly, but there are free ones
limited to 14.4 Data only - No Fax... but I made a connection using
these drivers and got a 38400 connection, so I don't understand.

But they do work flawlessly in Debian with the .deb drivers that
contextant provide... and even work with the 2.6.5 kernel.
